Introduction
Batch verification is the process by which a researcher confirms the authenticity and quality history of a specific batch of research peptide. Each batch is assigned a unique identifier that links it to its synthesis records, purification data, and analytical test results.
The Batch Number System
Every vial of peptide is labelled with a batch number — a unique alphanumeric code that identifies the specific production run. This number is the key to accessing:
How to Verify a Batch
1. Locate the batch number on the product label.
2. Enter the batch number into the verification tool on the supplier's website.
3. Review the COA and analytical data returned.
4. Cross-reference the batch number on the vial with the one on the COA.
Why Batch Verification Matters
Reproducibility
If an experiment produces unexpected results, the batch number allows researchers to check whether the peptide quality was a contributing factor. Different batches may have slightly different purity profiles.
Traceability
In the event of a quality issue or recall, the batch number allows the supplier to identify all affected vials and notify researchers.
