How the Calculator Works
The calculator uses the basic formula:
**Concentration (mg/mL) = Mass of peptide (mg) ÷ Volume of solvent (mL)**
Given any two of these values, the calculator determines the third.
Using the Calculator
Step 1: Enter Peptide Mass
Enter the mass of the peptide in your vial. This is printed on the product label and the COA (e.g., 5mg, 10mg).
Step 2: Enter Desired Concentration
Enter your target concentration in mg/mL. Common concentrations for laboratory research range from 1 mg/mL to 10 mg/mL, depending on the experimental protocol.
Step 3: Calculate Solvent Volume
The calculator determines the volume of solvent (in mL or units) needed to achieve the target concentration.
Step 4: Reconstitute
Using a calibrated syringe or pipette, add the calculated volume of solvent to the vial following proper reconstitution technique.
