Storing Lyophilised Peptides

Lyophilised peptides are generally stable when stored correctly, but poor handling can degrade them before they reach your assay.
Recommended storage
Most lyophilised peptides are best stored at −20°C, protected from light, in their original sealed vial. Repeated freeze-thaw should be avoided.
Reconstitution
Reconstitute only what you need, using an appropriate solvent for your assay. Aliquot to avoid repeated freeze-thaw of the reconstituted solution.
Handling notes
Allow the vial to reach room temperature before opening to prevent condensation, which can introduce moisture and degrade the peptide over time.
